It is clear that there are many differing experiences of being "involved" - and hence many different responses from time to time.
One of the great advantages of the current situation is flexibility and variety - whatever happens to assist now in the development of the ERN it is important that this flexibility and variety be maintained.
So - how do you know you are in the ERN?
- by identifying with some part of the above definition, or an appropriate variation of it - no definition can be all encompassing
- and, we hope from now on, by receiving the ERN Newsletter that will aim at giving all concerned a common link and identity.
Commonly this will not matter much to you because your link is through your ministry - e.g. if you are a staff member in a school, then you will have the involvement with the Edmund Rice Charism through the Charter and other school's activities - if you are an Edmund Rice Camp Leader you will have that involvement through the Camps Coordinator and ministry there - and so on.
