Edmund Rice Oceania

The public announcement of the establishment of Edmund Rice Education Australia was made in August 2006, the appointment of the Council in September 2006 and the appointment of the Board in December 2006.  Due to the appointment of Br Dean McGlaughlin cfc to the Oceania Province Leadership Team, it has become necessary to seek a replacement for him on the Council. We, the Inter-Province Leadership Committee are now very pleased to inform you that the Brother Ted Magee has been asked to join the Council of Edmund Rice Education Australia and that he has accepted the invitation:

Ted is currently a member of the St Francis Xavier Province Leadership Team and has participated in a number of the activities of the National Planning Committee for Schools Governance.

The Inter-Province Leadership Committee is pleased to have Ted’s skills, competence and experience to add to the existing Edmund Rice Education Australia Council.  This appointment will assist the Council in ensuring the continuation of the Charism of Blessed Edmund Rice in school ministry as Church Mission.
