Laurie Needham cfc, Chair Inter-Province Leadership Committee: "Following the announcement of the establishment of Edmund Rice Education Australia last month, I am now pleased to inform you that the Australian Christian Brothers have asked the following people to form the Council of Edmund Rice Education Australia and that they have accepted the invitation."
Brother Clem Barrett cfcClem is currently a member of the St Patrick’s Province Leadership Team and the National Planning Committee for School Governance.Sister Maryanne Confoy rscMaryanne is currently: Professor of Pastoral Theology at Jesuit Theological College; Principal of the Institute of Christian Spirituality and Pastoral Formation in Melbourne; and visiting Professor at Boston College.Mr Graham GoerkeGraham is currently a Partner, Jackson McDonald, Lawyers in Perth and a former Board Chair of Aquinas College in Perth.Brother Dean McGlaughlin cfc OAMDean is currently a member of the Holy Spirit Province Leadership Team and the National Planning Committee for School Governance.Brother Paul Oakley cfcPaul is currently a member of the St Mary’s Province Leadership Team and the National Planning Committee for School Governance.
In October 2006 the Council will commence its induction and the recruitment process for the appointment of the Board of Edmund Rice Education Australia. It is hoped that the Edmund Rice Education Australia Board will be in place by the end of this year. Fraternally, 26th September 2006 |
