We had a children's camp on Saturday 4th May, which also marked the early celebration of Edmund Rice Day. With children and youths in this camp it was clearly a good way to Celebrate Edmund Rice day as the turnout was as high as expected. This camp was more educative especially about the life of Edmund Rice and the reasons for conducting Edmund Rice Camps. This session was very well led by Br Elly.

This was followed by the favorite part for the children, namely, games and sports led by The Chairperson, Maurice. The games were well structured and organized and it was good to see that we have improved
the games, which are now more educative and interactive. In this camp we also had quite a large number of new volunteers whom we had invited from our partnership with Faith Hope and Love (a local charitable group). Their new energy clearly brought good vibes on this camp, as there was much cooperation from everyone, and as they interacted with the kids in the games it was melting to see how well they fit in. We as members definitely hope to see them more and perhaps absorb them into our program in the near future. Our camp ended with the sharing of meals and drinks as we marked the end of our celebration.
